JUNIOR SENIOR BANOUET It was a crownung achuevement the gala nught had arruved Lovely young ladues un form flttung evenung gowns and handsome young men feelung very stuff un theur seldom worn suuts gracuously adorned the grounds of the Chartuers Heughts Country Club The nught one never to be forgotten was May T6 On the Patuo many puctures were taken by the photographer for the students to have as a remembrance before dunner was served The food was delucuous The menu consusted of tomato soup as an appetuzer roast stuffed turkey mashed potatoes wuth gublet gravy and buttered peas Wuth thus tasty meal they served lello fruut salad For dessert we had a straw berry sundae Coffee or mulk was also served The faculty members of the Junuor and Senuor Hugh Schools were unvuted and permutted to brung a guest The theme of our Banquet was It Happens Every Sprung lt was carrued out un favors and programs of wushung wells A large wushung well un whuch each senuor and teacher threw a penny and made a wush was placed un the center of the ballroom The program was well planned Steve Zelenko the toastmaster untroduced Mr Muchael who gave the unvocatuon Al Wolfe Junuor Class Presudent greeted all who attended Joan Mercer obluged wuth two puano selectuons Muss Sccuvaruel was guest speaker Marlorue Osborne sang our theme song lt Happens Every Sprung and Charles Lanugan the Senuor Class Presudent thanked the Junuor Class for the wonderful banquet Group sungung led by Maruorue Osborne brought an end to the program After the tables were cleared we all danced to the orchestra of Ted Boughton untul l oclock Even though the program was well planned the affaur as a whole dudnt turn out as well as was expected 9 1 , . - 1 I I ' 11 - 11 - ' I I - ' I I ' I I I I I I - - 11 1 1 . ,, I . . . . 1 1 1 - 1 1 I . , .
