The grade was the tit.h and here some of us parted company for we were given two home rooms. The favorite memory dear to all of us was the breaking of Mr. Plushcat cur music teacher s heart. Oklahoma stole the show and hung on for top honors in 1943. Mrs. Prichard and Miss Phillips were our faculty that year. Our noon times were spent in Miss Phillip's room every day. Yes you guessed it Math! Sentimental Journey was the hit tune in 1944 and back across the street we went tor our seventh year in the Junior High Miss McCurdy and Mr Punterarie took over the chores of home room sponsors During this year we bought war bonds and stamps to show our patriotism to our country Symphony blasted the luke boxes in 1945 and our rooms were changed for the eighth year Here we were loined by new kids from Groveton Mrs Mortimer and Mrs Williams took held at the church over and helped us with our first banquet To Each His Own made the hit parade in 1946 and with our courses selected we entered our freshmen year Members of our class took part in the band cheerleading and athletics lvy sneaked its way from the lips of all In 1947 and we packed up our belongings and moved into the Senior high school for our Sophomore year There we took part in activities such as sponsoring dances holding assemblies and skating parties The shop held pleasant memories for its home room students Nature Boy swept the country in 1948 and that year brought us the title of Juniors With the help of Miss Pogachnlck and Mr Barrett we presented our class play Midnight We spon sored the Junior Senior banquet holding it at the Chartiers Country Club. Ghost Riders In the Sky broke all records in 1949. As we en- tered our last year of high school. Senior class pictures were taken while ln Spring the Sap was in production. It made a great hit with all. I love Those Dear Hearts and Gentle People of 1950 was the hit as we the Seniors bid farewell to Robinson High. Dressed in caps and gowns we ended our high school career with our diplomas clutched tightly in our hands.
