RAMS MARCHING BAND PERFORMS AT UVA, INAUGURAL PARADE Right — Flags precede marching unit at Robin¬ son half time. Lower — band performs in stands and at half time in Charlottesville at UVA game. The Symphonic Band became the Rams Marching Band during football season, pr oviding spectators with visual and musical extravaganzas. Their per¬ formances were as much an attraction as the games. Their well-drilled routines and super sound won them an invitation to perform at UVA and several first- place marching awards. They well- represented Robinson as part of the 1776-piece Fairfax County schools marching unit in the Nixon Inaugural Parade.
