ROBINSON ECO-INACTION—WHY? The four active members of Robinson’s Ecology-Action Club, Cindy Kiefer, Cathy Guinn, Gillian Kitchen, Stella Tar- nay and sponsor David Caughey could well wonder why. Star¬ ting the year with only eleven members, the number dwindled to four by February. A major project, landscaping the school grounds, seemed to stir little interest in the student body. Surely with over 4500 students Robinson could make more of an effort to help in the fight for the environment, a major national issue. What better place to start than in our own backyard? The most attractive school campus in Fairfax Coun¬ ty could, with the help and co-operation of all, be the most beautiful. 55
