PUBLICATIONS PONDER PEOPLE, Student journalists are unselfish with their time and talents, producing a result that is a reflection of themselves and all others involved in the effort, subscribers, contributors, the whole of Robinson. Theirs is a ‘club’ which meets daily after school and sometimes on weekends and holidays. The challenge is met only when the last copy, layouts, and photographs are sent for publication, proofs are read, and that glorious day arrives when the issue goes to press. There are no trophies, no applauding fans. There is the result, and for them, it is enough. Those who read the paper find pertinent articles covering national and local issues as well as school events. It is an open forum for discussion of issues and many participated in the ex¬ change of opinions. Valor-Dictus is a Robinson publication, and is what Robinson students choose to make of it, through their active participation or passive indifference. Please — we need YOU. IDEIN Idein bases its existence on the principle that excellent stu¬ dent art work and literature deserve exposure through publica¬ tion. The concern of a few dedicated staff members produced a representative collection of work this spring. Their financial plight echoing the universal problem of school art — literary magazines, staff members made and sold purses and candles to supplement a subscription drive.
