SCHOOL FIVE James C. Moulton, Principal LIBRARY Anne Meloy Delores Crawford Robinson’s finest faced a year of challenge, a year of ac¬ complishment, and a year of anticipation. Seniors worked together in their quest for recognition and achievement as thoughts about college, that perfect job, and their last year of high school raced in their heads. Plans for the first graduation, first class night, first junior-senior prom, first class gift - .these were the now problems of our seniors! Juniors had their concerns too! Class rings, the ring br eakfast, plans for the prom, the year ahead-it was hard to realize that we were almost there! We worked together in School Five. Faculty and students ex¬ perimented with ungradedness in the classroom, with family units of instruction, team-planning, team-teaching and with continuous progress education. A sub-school government worked hard to strengthen the student’s participation in his education and in his planning for the future. We participated in music and the arts. We were active in sports, and we were members of more than ninety different clubs and organizations. We faced a battery of tests - - - SCAT and STEP, PSAT, SAT, ACT, and we used up a pack of no. 2 pencils in the process! We had our moments of triumph and, no doubt, moments of frustration. But ours was a year to remember, a year of happiness and good times, of hopes for the future, of goodbyes and promises to return. —James C. Moulton, Principal School Five 245
