SCHOOL SIX LIBRARY Linda Kagarise SECRETARY Helen Smith Donald W. Jones, Principal School Six, the youngest of Robinson’s best, got off to a marvelous start. This being the first year with seniors, new ex¬ periences were encountered each day. The anticipation of graduation gave everyone the feeling of both joy and sorrow; joy for the good times and experiences associated with Robinson, sorrow at having to leave them behind. The planning for graduation was time-consuming but exciting. Caps and gowns, the prom, announcements, picnics, parties, bac¬ calaureate, and the ceremony of receiving diplomas were all parts of this experience. School Six was bless ed with an abundance of outstanding students and faculty members. We had a wealth of junior and senior academicians, musicians, athletes, artists, thespians, and writers. Many of our students received honors from school, church, and community-centered programs indicative of our well- rounded student population. The concept of juniors and seniors sharing classes worked well. The few animosities brought forth in the beginning were soon lost and forgotten. Each student had his own role to play and was respected for it. Not only did teachers team to teach, students teamed to learn. For those of us staying behind one more year, we wish the very best to those who are moving on. —Donald W. Jones, Principal 241
