Orange and yellow locker doors open wide as books and notebooks are removed. . . .. The quick slam of their closing can be heard through the early morning chatter of voices calling, laughing, groaning , . . The clock ' s minute hand creeps toward 7:45, when magically the talking groups melt away and reappear behind desks and tables. Classes begin In Sub-School Two. As Individuals, the seventh and eighth graders are learning about Man and his Society, the complex world of Integers and polynomials, and the ecology of land formations and food webs. Together the student body of Sub-School Two ha fun by seeing the play “Mother Earth”, Tuning Up Their Talent, and grooving at their Jeans Dance. There Is pride In being a student In Sub-School Two because—“We’re Twice As Good!”
