lf INDUSTRIAL ARTS IVlr. Pyles and lVlr,, Knepper are in charge of in- dustrial arts. lt gives a chance for Robinson students to use their hands in a creative manner, such as lVlr. Pyles 9th grade wood class. Before Christmas the students worked very hard to make presents for their parents and friends. IVIr, Knepper helps the 8th graders understand electricity, graphic arts, printing and photography. The classes also print the covers for concert pro- grams, and make tickets for lots of Robinsons acti- vities, The things you can do in shop at Robinson are a lot of fun. lVlr. EIGHTH 81 NINTH GRADE SEWING 8: COOKING This year the 8th grade sewing classes started out by making pillows. Then they made skirts and then they had a choice of making a blouse, purse or stuffed animal. There sewing teacher is lVlrs. Brown. lVIrs. Brown will also be there cooking teacher next Semester. The 9th grade sewing and cooking classes did a project together this year forthe red cross. The 9th grade cooking classes made cookies, candies, little fruit cakes and tea mints. Then the 9th grade sewing classes wrapped the food up and sent it to Senior Citizen for Christmas. The 9th grade sewing class also made pant suites. There teacher is lVlrs. BUSINESS AND LIBRARY lVlrs. Maben is in charge of the library. She does a very good job organizing and keeping the library in tip top shape. The library is also a great place for students to go and study. At Robinson our business department consists primarly of typing. lVlr. Klotz keeps his classes busy with certain jobs and timed writings. lVlr. Klotz also has a little humor in his classes by drawing pictures with the letter x, you need to have the ability to follow directions. lVlr.
