The 7th grade classes have done some book reports to give them experience in the library. The 8th grade had a You Unit. lt was about young people and their problems. Along with the unit they did a lot of writing about themselves. The 9th grade wrote re- ports on autobiographys, biographys, and also short story units. The students read several short stories and made reports about them. This years English Class had a lot of interesting subjects that made for better enjoyment in learning. ffm , KX

James Dunn, History, History History Gross, Aff ART 8: HISTORY History is an important subject because the future of the world can be predicted by a study of its past. Since the world is always changing, and in order to understand the background and reasons surrounding these events. The study of history can help us to understand our heritage, where we came from and where we're headed. Here at Robinson, the seventh grade students are required to take art. Art is an elective course to the ninth grade students. The course teaches the basic types of drawing, painting, paper mache, pottery, macrame and rug weaving. This art course gives Ro- binson students a chance to discover their artistic talertts. Emphasis is placed on student creativity and originality.
