My congratulations to the sponsor, editors, photographers, and all who produced the Ram- page. The Yearbook will be enjoyed and will re- call highlights and memories of Robinson Junior High of 1974-1975. A MESSAGE FROM MR. WRIGHT. A yearbook is an essential ingredient for nostalgia for years to come. As you reminisce about the years past---I hope you will not look upon these three years at Robinson, and say that you wished that you had done something different I have always had a great deal of pride in Ro- binson students. They have been able to set goals and attain those goals. Our goals this year should be to accept the challenge of the past and to present a challenge for the future. M .-5. One ofthe projects they sponsered was given by the Continental Theatre Com- pany. They presented a Comedy of Errors. While they were here, the company put on different work- shops forthe students like make-up, mime, soliloquy, musical comedy, lighting, and several others. It was a very enjoyable experience and everyone enjoyed it. At the right is a scene from Comedy of Errors. The fine arts also did a program for Toys for Tots to collect toys for children so that they can have toys for Christ- mas. Below is the Ram Art Club. lVlr. Gross is the sponsor of this group and its purpose is to build more interest in the visual arts. lVls. Nolan gave a talk on Indian Art and we had the Artario '72 Art Exhibit from Canada. Various other speakers came in and a lVlini- lecture series was held. We held three small exhibits at different business in Wichita. All in all, it was really a year of the fine arts. i WE'VE GOTSPlRlT Here's our Robinson Pep Club. The purpose of the pep club is to maintain our school spirit. We depend on the members to go to all ofthe all the games and cheer for our team. The pep club participates in activities such as donut sales and malt cup sales to raise money. They also have pos- ter parties to make posters for the games. And they help present pep assemblies. The pep club had a spirit week before the Coleman Junior High Game. The pep club does everything it can to keep our school spirit. Pictured above left is the half time squad, Dana Christian, Deb- bie Taylor, Shara Lyle, Susan lVlills. Each day they have to pick up the absence slips and record who is here and who is not. They also put mail in the teachers mail boxes. The proctors get a business credit for working in the office. A job in the office can get pretty hectic but otherwise it's fun. Pictured be- low are the girls' gym leaders who assist the girls' gym teachers. ---' - H L STUDENT COUNCIL This year has been a good year for Student Council. They have sponsored things such as sock-hops, dress-up days and food sales .There was a 50's day with a sockhop after school, the week of our first basketball game, and it was a big sell out. The co-presidents this year have been Jennifer lVlc- Farland and Leslie Travis. Gloria Baird was elected secretary, and Dennis Bear- den was treasurer. lVlrs. Since the world is always changing, and in order to understand the background and reasons surrounding these events. The study of history can help us to understand our heritage, where we came from and where we're headed. Here at Robinson, the seventh grade students are required to take art. Art is an elective course to the ninth grade students. The course teaches the basic types of drawing, painting, paper mache, pottery, macrame and rug weaving. This art course gives Ro- binson students a chance to discover their artistic talertts. Emphasis is placed on student creativity and originality. lVlr. Keneth lVlr. Pat Ire- Carroll land lVlr. Our magical world is an increasing wonder! Science: Man's quest for understanding, provides MATH The purpose of math is to help the students to better understand the various number systems. By knowing these sys- tems the students will be able to cope with and solve problems that he will later encounter in life.
