Rams Are Better Than Ever In '73: Basketball is one of the main competitive sports at Robinson. The boys that participate in this sport practice long hours after school. This year the spirit was high because a pep club was formed to cheer our team on to victory. And they did just that! The Rams had one of the best teams ever, defeating Marshal, Hamilton, Curtis, Jardine, and other schools. This year we almost beat our rival, Coleman, for the first time. The game was close and defen- sive throughout with the Rams leading most of the way. Coleman went ahead one point with 37 sec- onds left to win the game with a final score of 25 to 26. This game was a real heartbreaker. This goes to prove that spirit does make a big difference. LEFT, Robinson fights to win the ball. This gives them an advantage and makes them better track and fielders by the time they reach the ninth grade. 33
