Seniors Present West of Pecos Directing the Senior Class Play, West of Pecos, was Mr. James Seifert, and Debbie Ramsey as student director. Judge Roy Bean, the law West of Pecos, has declared Orin Powers must hang for the shooting up of a poster of his beloved Lily Langtry, the famed frontier actress. The sentence has the town of Langtry, Texas in a stew. Bad men want Orin to swing, and good citizens want him to live. Only one thing will save the unfortunate lad, the appearance of Lily herself. Juniors Present Heaven Can Wait The Junior Class presented a three act comedy-fantasy, Heaven Can Wait, by Harry Segall. Mr. McCoy was the director with the assistance of seniors, Mark Allen and Tim Huff, and a iunior, Ed Seidel, as his student directors. As Bette Logan watches, Mrs. Ames announces a visitor. Joe Pendleton, a prize-fighter, was the main character in the comedy involving a man who insists he is not dead. Complications arise as the conductor to heaven attempts to make corrections.
