NTRAMURAL COUNCIL INTRAMURAL CLUB The Intramural Club is sponsored by Mr. Robert BonDurant. This is the club ' s second active year at R H S Intramural Club is headed by a council or group of students which organize the club s activities. The club meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays, meeting a total of eleven times this year. Volleyball and bas- ketball were the main team games the club was engaged in this year. Tumbling, and all types of gymnastics were on the agenda for the club. The members feel that by belonging to the club they can have more time to use the gymnasium and equipment than in Physical Education. 88

DRAMA CLUB - DRAMA THESPIANS DRAMA CLUB DRAMA THESPIANS Happiness is . . . attending the Grande Finale of the Harvest Festival presented by the Drama Club of R.H.S. The Christmas Card was the theme for the Christmas program that Drama Club had. Members of the club por- trayed living characters of Christmas cards. May brought three one-act plays performed before the student body. The club took a trip to Charleston to see MACBETH. Acting as sponsor for the 1969-70 Drama Thespian Club was Mrs. Kenneth Caraway. The purpose of the club is to promote appreciation of the theater in the high school. To become a Thespian, one has to earn ten points in Drama Club. These points are earned by active service in the club. Members of the club went to speech contests. There, Lynn Driscol received a first. The highlight of the year was a trip to St. Louis to see an Off Broadway Play. 87

FUTURE BUSINESS LEADERS OF AMERICA The F.B.L.A. which is sponsored by Mr. Lockhart, conducted a number of activities during the year to give its members practical experience in business and manage- ment. At the carnival they sponsored a Ring Toss. An- other money-making project was the selling of candy eggs. In February the F.B.L.A. members enjoyed their annual banquet. F.B.L.A FIRST ROW: J.
