BETA CLUB - COME TOGETHER BETA CLUB Beta Club was sponsored by Mr. Robert Laswell in its sixth successful year. Paper flowers were sold at the har- vest festival carnival, as is the tradition. The club pre- sented its annual school talent show. The theme this year was Come Together. The money earned from these projects was sent to an institution in St. Louis for the purchase of encyclopedias for unfortunate children. VENUS CROWNED AT BANQUET Slave C. Schaefer finds the job of washing her master ' s hand not altogether easy. Roman Senator M. Poppe appears amused by the antics of the slaves. LATIN CLUB Latin Club again this year, had a slave auction at the Carnival. The members played such games as bingo and charades, in Latin, at their regular meetings. Carols were sung in Latin during the Christmas season. Movies of educational value were shown dur- ing the meetings. RADIO CLUB The purpose of the Radio Club of RHS is to join to- gether those who are interested in the electronic field, and to bring them to a better understanding of the Radio The- ory. This unique club, lead by Mr. Parham, authorized several activities throughout the year. They visited the lo- cal radio station to observe its operation.
