Club was once again sponsored this year by Mrs. Finefrocl . With Mary Ann Bandy as president, G.A.A. began their year by sponsoring the cookie kitchen at the carnival. Later in the year, they sold candles. Girls partici- pating in G.A.A. became involved in many different types of games, sports, and other activities. A big high- light of the year was a slumber party in the girl ' s gym sponsored by G.A.A. and Pep Club. 76

ART CLUB mm n The Spring Sale a new idea, proved to be fun as well as money-making for the 69-70 Art Club. Meetings were spent creating paper flowers, psyche- delic posters, and painting bottles. A demonstration on tie-dying was given and several movies were shown through out the year. The club made plans for a trip, paying for expenses, with money they had earned.

The club sponsored a painting booth, Les Artistes, at the Carnival. The club members end- ed the year with a trip which was fun for all. French Club also had concessions at the last home basketball game to raise money needed for this trip. An initiation party was held in honor of the new club members. l 77
