THIRD ROW: Coach Jim Fox, MikeShimer, Robbie Miller, Jack Mcintosh, Mike Steele, Bill McKay, Don Farris, Frank Walton, Coach Tony Cork. TRACK The Robinson Maroon Track and Field team of 1970 displayed their skills to everyone by completing a fine season with a record of 8-2. Finishing third in the Eastern Illinois Conference as well as the District, and placing two men. Bill Miller and Steve Hanna in the mile run in the state meet were all high points of the year. The Frosh-Soph team also finished with a good season of 5-1. They placed first in the conference, and the Sophomores also got a first in the Little Trojan. With many returning lettermen, as well as the many fine athletes who are advancing to high school status, Robinson promises to have another excellent season in the coming school year. s mfp - FIRST ROW: 8.
