Mutic Time marches on—so does the RHS Band, ‘‘The Marching Maroons,’ as they strive to make our school more outstand- ing. Both the “‘Mixed Chorus’ and the ‘Girls’ Chorus’’ have also played an im- portant part in attaining this goal. Many hours of hard work have not been in vain, as shown by the recognition received by the RHS Music Department for their many activities.

Miss Donna Sue Glenn and her court during the coro- nation at the 1957 Junior- Senior Prom. She was crowned by junior class president, Don McCrory. Some of the students ‘‘live it up’’ during a fast num- ber by the band. Music was furnished by Don Lawrence and his’ orchestra’ from Champaign. Prom night is long-remem- bered, and each moment, whether it’s spent dancing or talking, is also recalled for a long time afterwards.
