HI-Y The Robinson Hi-Y Club is affiliated with the National Y. M. C. A. The club’s purpose is to “Create, maintain and extend throughout the home, school, and community high stand- ards of Christian character. ’ The motto of the club is ‘‘Clean speech, clean scholarship, clean sportsmanship, and clean living.'’ The emblem on our Y. M. C. A. triangle stands for, ‘‘The life, service, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.” This year the club has approximately 50 members. Any high school boy who believes in and wishes to live up to the ideals of the club may join, Our adult sponsorship is Mr. L. E. Wag- oner, and the outside sponsor is Rev. L. The Drama Club is one of the largest and one of the most active clubs in the school. The purpose of the club is to try to train its members in the theatrical arts. Anyone in the high school that has an in- terest in drama may join the club. This year D R A M A G L U B there are about 83 members. Some of the many activities in which the club participates are: the Drama Club play which was ‘‘East Lynne’’ this year, the speech contest, the carnival finale, and the Christmos program.
