Under the sponsorship of Mrs. Gerald Wilson, the club has climbed in import- ance until it is one the leading clubs in the school. Tri-Hi-Y is a club for any young Christian girl who believes in the club’s purpose ‘‘To create, maintain, and extend throughout the home, school, and community high standards of Christian character.” The club is affiliated with the Y. SPANISH CLUB The Spanish Club is one of the smaller clubs of the school. This year there are 26 mem- bers under the direction of Miss Macalene Riegel. The qualifications for the members is to have had or to be enrolled in a Spanish class. The purpose of the club is to learn more of the custom s, games, and songs of the Spanish speaking countries. HI-Y The Robinson Hi-Y Club is affiliated with the National Y. M. C. A. The club’s purpose is to “Create, maintain and extend throughout the home, school, and community high stand- ards of Christian character. ’ The motto of the club is ‘‘Clean speech, clean scholarship, clean sportsmanship, and clean living.'’ The emblem on our Y. M. C. A. triangle stands for, ‘‘The life, service, and sacrifice of Jesus Christ.” This year the club has approximately 50 members. Any high school boy who believes in and wishes to live up to the ideals of the club may join, Our adult sponsorship is Mr. L. E. Wag- oner, and the outside sponsor is Rev. L.
