This is the 36th year RHS students have published a paper. It is issued by-weekly. The qualifications for being on the staff are to have an interest in journalism and be willing to work. This year there are about 50 students on the staff. The purpose of the paper is to inform the NEWS 'N EVERYTHING high school students and the people of Robin- son about all RHS activities. The paper is a member of the National Scholastic Press Association and the Illinois State High School Press Association. Under the direction of Miss Wilma Nuttall, the staff participates in many activities other than the publishing of the newspaper. Love, LATIN CLUB This year there are approximately 80 members in the Latin Club under the direction of Miss Wilma Nuttall. The qualifications for entering Latin Club, one of the oldest clubs in the school, is to have had at least one semester of Latin. The purpose of the club is to familiarize members with phases of Roman life which can- not be considered in class because of lack ot time, and to create an interest in Latin. The club reflects in its organization the poliitical set-up of ancient Rome. Everyone is a Roman citizen—Latin | students are ‘‘slaves’’ until after initiation. The officers have Roman titles. There are two consuls who take the place of a president and preside over the meeting. The club is a member of the Illinois Jun- ior Classical League. LATIN CLUB OFFICERS Seated: D. Irvin, Prateor; L.
