The Student Council is an organization at RHS whose purpose is to promote a better rela- tionship between the faculty and the student body. The membership is made up of four of- ficers, four class presidents, six hold-over mem- bers, and one representative from each activity FLOWER COMMITTEE Seated—J. Kerins, S. Burns, M, Poorman. Standing—B, Farrer, J. Hoagland, Mrs. Mefford room. The Student Council sponsors an all- school carnival, lyceum programs, pepsi dances, noontime activities, and a Christmas dinner. SPORTS STAFF Seated—L. Trout, J. Baker. Standing—L, York, W. Montgomery, R. Ruddell, The News 'N’ Everything staff is the group of people who publish our high school news- paper. This is the 36th year RHS students have published a paper. It is issued by-weekly. The qualifications for being on the staff are to have an interest in journalism and be willing to work. This year there are about 50 students on the staff. The purpose of the paper is to inform the NEWS 'N EVERYTHING high school students and the people of Robin- son about all RHS activities. The paper is a member of the National Scholastic Press Association and the Illinois State High School Press Association. Under the direction of Miss Wilma Nuttall, the staff participates in many activities other than the publishing of the newspaper.
