For nine months out of every year, students and faculty members spend much time at RHS. Fall, with its beginning days of school, football season, and carnival, brings much excitement. The winter sea- son brings an untold story of tradition and good will to all of the patrons of Robinson High School. Spring, with a hidden beauty, carries thrills to all the student body and the teachers for all know that they are approaching a new season of excitement and a long term of the future.

Thanks to our custodians, we, the students of RHS, may be proud of our build- ings. We started earning money for our future years by actively par- ticipating in the annual school carnival. Chloe Noblitt was our freshman representative in the carnival queen race. As the summer of our high school came, we were well represented as the sophomore class. We sponsored a class dance known as the ‘‘Sophomore Subject Swing.’ Represent- ing our class as carnival queen candidate was Carolyn Stin- son. The autumn of our high school career approached and we, as juniors, participaied in many activities. Carnival was one of our major activities with Kay Alexander as our queen candidate. We presented the junior musical ‘‘Girl Crazy’’ with the co-operation of the music department. The combined ef- forts of these two organizations made the musical a tremen- dous success. The highlight of our junior year was our pre- sentation of the annual Junior-Senior Prom. A garden and fountain setting was perfect for the theme ‘‘Moonlight and Roses.’ In the December of our high school years, we had much success. The queen of the 1957 carnival was our senior candi- date Susie Shepard. Susie was escorted to the throne by David Wilkin, senior class president. Lynda Daron and David Wilkin were honored by being chosen DAR and SAR recipi- ents, respectively. As winter falls upon this four year stay at RHS, we, as departing seniors, find it hard to say good-bye to a place that has held so many happy memories for us. Carrying with us these wonderful memories, we bid the school and the faculty au revoir then turn to face the future. Page 22
