The Junior High School Band participated in many activities this year. They marched ai two home football games, and the Pep Band played at the home basketball games. The band presented two very fine performances at their Spring and Fall Concerts. Our band per- formed for large audiences when they marched BASKETBALL TEAM in the Robinson Fall Festival Parade, and in the Palestine Labor Day Parade. The band par- ticipated in the Crawford County Band and Choral Festival, which was a very successful event. ee a eee ee STUDENT COUNCIL The Junior High Student Council has been organized for four years. Under the direction of Mrs. Junia Gill, they have sponsored activities for the Seventh and Eighth Graders. They sell refreshments at the basketball games to earn money to buy a gift tor the Seventh and Eight Grade. They decorate the bulletin board in the Seventh and Eighth Grade Section. NEWSPAPER STAFF This year, the Junior High Journalism staff was organized to publish news of Junior High activities. The members of the staff have assisted in publishing seven in- sert pages covering all Junior High activities. The purpose of the staff is to afford Junior High students the opportunity to learn all phases of journalism; to publish a one page insert in alternate editions of the Senior High paper. Under the direction of Mr. Jock Wilson, the thirty members of the staff did a fine job. Page 112
