News ‘N’ Everything is a student newspaper pub- lished bi-weekly to give the students and their friends an accurate picture of the news and people of RHS. In order to give more complete coverage, this year, as in the previous years, a six page newspaper was published every third issue, Three members of the staff attended a State Journalism meeting at Champaign. Seven members went to the National Scholastic Press Association convention at Chicago. Along with editing the newspaper, the staff edited and sold programs for the football] games. Page 14

Burke, Paze 16 High school students in journalist work are rewarded for their pursuits by member- ship in Quill and Scroll, an honorary society for junior and senior high school journalists. However, to qualify for membership, a news- paper or yearbook staff member must have either 300 printed inches or 300 equivalent hours of work. Students of either staff may become associate members if they have 200 hours or work. Quill and Scroll has two an- nual initiations. One is held during Christ- mas vacation and the other at the end of the school year. BANQUET AT HOTEL M. McIntosh, J.
