Hot In The Cold The 1988-1989 season was one of re- building for the girls gymnastics team. They had to reorganize themselves from the previous year because of a change in the coaching staff and the freshmen class coming into the high school. We were apprehensive at first with such a small gym at Robbinsdale and 4 grade levels, but instead it was to our advantage. The freshmen and sophomores added to the depth and talent for the returning team said senior co-captain, Chris Yang. The team finished at regions with t wo gym- nasts, Kathy Carroll and Danya Lamker, qualifying for region finals on individual events. But because of the many changes the team had to go through they became close. We had a great team and everyone was real- ly friendly. It ' s been the best part of the year so far! said Sarah Nadeau.
