if . , W, 1? C? T DEDICATION We, the students of Gus C. Robertson Junior High, sincerely dedicate our fifth yearbook to Mr. William Santos, Robertson's Student Activity Advisor. He has served Robertson students well and unselfishly. As Student Activity Advisor, Mr. Santos is responsible for planning andfor supervising of the following for students: Seventh Grade Orientation to Robertson in August Updating of Student Handbook . ASB nomination convention, election, student government meetings, student court ASB Budget, projects, expenditures ASB activity calendar Daily announcements concerning student government Selecting and scheduling assembly programs Posters for publicity of school activities Bulletin boards in multi-purpose rooms Sale of doughnuts before school Scheduling and organizing school dances Attending after-school sports Cheerleader and Song Girl tryouts and selection, Pep Club organization, finding faculty sponsors for such groups Scheduling and organizing Jubilee Days Scheduling and organizing Scrub Day and Homeroom Clean-up campaign Other activities as they arise, which are too many to mention, always receive his willing attention 1 Mr. Santos also teaches five periods of class per day. The students at Robertson sincerely thank Mr. Santos for his dedication. He helps the school year to be remembered as being more than classes for students and makes a yearbook at Robertson a possible and worthwhile history of the school year.
