The season record was five wins to one loss over the course of six dual meets. The main spark of this year’s squad proved to he the frosh newcomers, including Lucious Stephens, Allen Kangethe, Dave Markell, Ken Armagost, and Boh Pattison, all of whom worked to establish several new school records. Their efforts, combined with the hard work of such strong veterans as Gcrv Helsby, Tim Duffy, Ken Demster, Glenn Schultz, Paul Mroz, Jim Lusk, Pete Field, and Bill Mackmcr, enabled the team to begin the writing of a new chapter in Roberts Wesleyan track history. The highlight of the season was the surprise upset by Roberts over a strong R.I.T. squad, a meet in which the R.W.C. freshmen tallied up five school records in the sprints, hurdles, and relays. With such substantial young blood, Rol»erts can look forward to an exciting track showing over the next few years.
