PRULOGUE Life is the long and winding road that leads us to our future. We would remember the past with an understanding of what has been and especially with an appreciation of the aspiring student- for we were once that student. We would live the present with the deepest awareness of God and of humanity, for it is this that makes us truly alive. As graduate nurses, we are now at the crossroads of the future. We look to the years before us with the hope that they will bring peace and a cessation to human suffering.
