Pres.J Our Freshman year. . .filled with apprehension, frustration, fears, tears, and homesicknessg but made up for by all the good times filled with fun, laughter, love, and a sense of class spirit. We made it through our first year and now we look forward to two more years of learning and learning experiences. Impressions of all dimensions from small and great and from bad to good were left with us. One of these impres- sions follows as written by one who wrote from her heart: Dr. Lindsay As you stand before me, I can see wisdom flowing out of your well educated dialogue. I gaze in wonder, not knowing if Iwill gather the knowledge you have now in all my lifetime. I look again and I see a meek smile, yet warm and sincere. Yes, you understand not only about endoplasmic reticulum and ATP conversion but you also have an insight on eople. Iiflany a time you've given strength to those who need it--strength to learn, continue and serve. I only wish everyone could know and appreciate you as I do. Someday, maybe years from now, someone may ask an anatomy question and your students will see the wisdom of your face appearing before them. . .then that knowledge drilled in so slyly will return. Love for human life is the most important aspect in nursing and you, Dr. Lindsay, are the one that helped produce many a good nurse! All I can say is, you're doing a good job, never stop feeding those hungry for knowledge, all the knowledge you can give. -- You're the Greatest! 37
