Two consulting doctors, Oouldn't quite agree, Telephoncd to Ramsey Then there were three. Three bewildered doctors, Pacing on the floor, Thought they'd have Sheridan Then there were four. Four outstanding doctors, Patient still alive, Voted in Sullivan Then there were five. Five uncertain doctors, In a pretty fix, Planned to have Hanlon Then there were six. Six loquacious doctors, Talking 'til eleven, Prayed for Johnston Then there were seven. Seven nervous doctors, Workiilg long and late, Signaled for Mallams Then there were eight. Susan Orr had a hard time trying to find someone who answered to the name of Amertan in Dispensary one day. Dr. Key said when he first came here, UAH the most beautiful women come from Texas . VVe think he has changed his tone. VVe wonder if Miss Harrison ever did see the ears. Dr. Sheridan doubts her word. Miss Farrell really made Dr. Hein- rich move fast the night she called him about finding something which fell out of a dressing. Dr. Rentschler looked a bit queer the day he changed his suit but for- got to change his trousers. Miss Ohl took Dr. Evans literally one day and pinched his nose instead of his mask. Dr. Harmon would like everyone to know that when he holds out his hand during an operation he isn't direct- ing traffic. Dr. Hawk-I ain't purty and I ain't good looking but won't some- body pay some attention to me? Miss Powers insists upon having a requisition for everything she needs in the HPest House . Miss Cooley: The best place to look for sympathy is in VVebster's. To Dunham Home Shower: Trickle, trickle, little shower VVhat can ail you at this hour? Miss Phyllis Guenther, Class of 1940, is now engaged as State Nurse at Coudersport, Pa. Alumnae activities include several interesting meetings. The March monthly meeting was held in the base- ment of the Nurses' Home, Where a very fine supper was served under the direction of Miss Dorothy Fischler. The program consisted of a very in- teresting talk by Miss Ella Rothermol, RN., the house mother, concerning her work in the Navy Nurses' Corps. The April alumnae meeting was held in form of an Easter Party. Dr. Newman gave a very interesting talk on the difficulties of medical work in China in war time. A mock wedding was staged follow- ing the regular alumnae meeting on May seventh. Miss Lillian Yontz was the 'tblushing bridcu and Miss Lora Scott impersonated the bridegroom. This event was much enjoyed by alumnae members, general duty nurses and student nurses as well as the refresher course nurses. Miss Virginia Culver, Class of 1939. is a school nurse at Coudersport, Pa. Miss Frances Gustin, Class of 1939, on the nursing staff of Philadelphia Visiting Nurse Society. Miss Helen Fowler, Class of 1936, is superintendent of the Coudersport Hospital.
