Harries, J. Spellman. GREEK COUNCIL Greek Council is the governing body of the Greek system at the campus. All fraternities and sororities are represented on the Council. The purpose of the council is to provide appropriate rules and planning for all Greek organizations. It also promotes the interests of the Greeks within the college itself and insures cooperation between themselves and the college. 108

Mu, as it was known, did much to promote brotherhood, the basis of fraternity life, not only among its mem-bers but in an outward sense. Brotherhood to society has been and still remains one of the major objectives of the fraternity. On May 16, 1970 the fraternity was accepted into the national social fraternity. Alpha Chi Ftho and given. the chapter name Pi Phi. Since then, the Crows have excelled in sports as well as community activities. Helping tutor the children at the D. T. Watson Home has been a rewarding project to both parties involved. 109
