Let Us Be Heard The Forum, under the direction of Miss Taylor, was one of the active clubs this year. The topics for discussion were on timely subjects of national interest such as Universal Military Training, Voting Age vs. Military Age, and Federal Aid to Edu- cation. The Forum sponsored a very inter- esting trip to the UNESCO conference, and also a panel discussion forthe benefit of our exchange students from India and Syria. Sigma Mu lMath Clubl Under the sponsorship of Miss Van Wart, this year's Math Club got oft to an excellent start with the largest member- ship ever recorded. With Larry Hammel as president and Dominick Cermignani as vice-president and program chairman, the :lub members delight in experimenting with fascinating mathematical riddles and calculating the solutions to complex prob- lems and magic squares. These mathe- matically-minded wizards of Simpson High School hope to win top honors tor them- selves and the school in the annual Pi Mu Epsilon contest held at New York Uni- versity in the spring. , A
