SURE WAS FUN THOUGH Epilogue To everyone the annual is memories. But to us, the editors, it means so much more than the pictures suggest. A personal insight is behind every photograph. The 1966 QUADRANGLE is really five people to us, There were many others, but the bulk of the load rested on a loyal few. Thus the yearbook is a memory of Dennis Black yelling I'll give you one more chance to the typewriter. There was the Human Cashew, Peter Starke, stacking jar upon jar beside his layout sheets. Richard Batch is remembered as the laughing photographer, suddenly berserk over a ridiculous cutline. Bob Rivera was always lost in sleepy oblivian on 2 A. M. deadlines. John Shull was not remem- bered for himself so much as for his white husky, Togiak. That terror chewed and digested many a crucial photograph. So you see, the QUADRANGLE means different things to different people. We hope that its value in glorious nostalgia to you, the students, equals that to us. Your Yearbook Publisher Newsroto
