Dr. Henry E. York Principal The enrollment at Frost this year is 1668, not counting the 74 teachers, 2 librarians, 5 coun¬ selors, 3 principals, nurse, 8 custodians, 13 cafe¬ teria workers, and seven secretaries. This is the ninth year Frost has been in operation. Academic programs at Frost are described on the following pages. Extra curricular activities include intra¬ murals, French and Spanish clubs, art club, Bible study, drama, publications, creative writ¬ ing, and S.C.A. At this time Frost is the largest intermediate school in the county, and has ex¬ cellent safety patrols helping students who ride 43 regular and 6 late buses. Frost also has student proj ects such as the P. B. X. and F. I. D. A. C. With over 12, 000 books in the library, there is plenty for students to read. Administration ... Keeping It All Together 2

Eighth graders looked at se¬ mantics, the power of words, propaganda, and advertising as used in society. They also studied fables, myths, fairy tales, legends and parables as man ' s means of expressing ideas of good, evil, and beauty. The study of representative authors showed eighth graders how history was shaped by writers as well as how history affected writer ' s works. English Stresses Basic Language Arts Poluto, Aphrodity, and Zeus. . .
