Senior Page The Senior Class set a precedent this year by voting not to elect mascots and by voting 'to have a class reunion, which will be held on Saturday, August 12, 1961. Poem CLASS POEM 1960 We are the Class ot 1960, Soon each to go his separate way. We've gone through many struggles together Since that first chaotic Freshman day. Our Sophomore year, we all relaxed- We knew the routine better. We joined many clubs, studied more, Followed the rules-well, almost!-to the letter. Then we were Juniors- Oh, what a year! We all had been dreading That year with tear. But soon our tears were all relieved, Our teachers were kinder than our minds had con- ceived. And now We've reached That all-important day, The day when each of us Goes his separate way. The end ofthe beginning? The beginning of the end? To know which will be, None of us pretend. But if memories ever take us back To where we want to be, We'll find our hearts and souls Again at dear old R. E. Lee.
