Gafford, reveals to the students, through class participation and lab work, the marvels of the sciences. Under the present curriculum, including Biology I and II, Chemistry have the op- portunity for individual research. The aim of the department is to help the students understand and appreciate the attitude and method of the scientist and the scientific method. Extensive use of filmstrips and experi- mentation aids further the students investi- gation of the subject matter.
