Man has learned to harness the energy of water, fuels and atoms. He has developed great networks of communication, constructed buildings of mighty steel. Mathematics has been man's tool in these accomplishments. Math is basic to understanding the world today. It is the equipment needed by students who will take their places as educated persons in the modern world. Lee offers a wide range of subjects from Algebra I to Analytical Geometry and Probability and Statis- tics to all students wishing to advance in the field of mathematics. Geometry is used by im aginative students in growing in the m arhem atical side of art, just as Algebra and Trigonometrv are used to develop logic and reasoning. Related math is a study of the basic fundamentals of Algebra and Ge ometry, which is offered to all students. Much importance is pla ce d on these subjects, since the modern w orld of business requires a good knowledge of fundamental math.
