l TOM PATTERSON Democracy, American History B.S., Auburn Sponsor: International Relations Club HCJME ECGNOMICS DEPARTME T The Home Economics Department strives to prepare students for present and future family living. lt also wishes to instruct the students in the maintenance of satisfactory personal, family, and community life. This department attempts to develop a sound sense of values and better buying practices. Cultivating wholesome attitudes of students is also one of the department's objectives. As a means of emphasizing the total program, the Home Economics Department sponsors activities throughout the year. Luncheons and other types of entertainment are planned, prepared, served, and hostessed by the students as actual learning experiences.
