Le-e's Generals rolled up a 36-O victory over the Tallassee Tigers in their second straight win of the season. l.ee's hard-charging defense was in the spotlight just as much as the offense. Tallassee picked up only 2 first downs the entire game, both in the final period, and only 29 yards total defense. Quarterback Bobby Enslen galloped around right end for the first Lee six-pointer. David Welch's extra point boot made the score 7-O. After failing on three downs, Tiger quarterback Roger Davidson dropped back to punt. The snap from center sailed over his head and into the end-zone, where Lee linebacker Kenneth Wood tackled him for a safety and a 9-O General margin. On the Tigers' kickoff from their own 20, Howard Bozeman returned T9 yards to the Tallassee 38. Six plays later Elbert Bell scampered around right end to paydirt, and another Welch PAT made the score lo-O. Jerry Henderson climaxed a 39-yard march with a TD, Welch's PAT gave Lee a 23-O margin. With Ralph Hamn directing another charge, Connie Frederick plunged over from the one for a 29-O spread. The Generals scored the first time they had the ball in the third quarter. Jerry Henderson scored with less than five minutes elapsed in the first quarter. David Welch then booted the conversion and Lee led 7-O. Jerry Wills recovered a West End fumble on the Lion's 25. Louis Priester hit tackle for two, Henderson then rambled for 18 before going over from the five. Welch added the PAT and Lee held a 14-O lead in the first quarter. Early in the second period, Lee began operations on their own 49. Gary Milton sped 3O yards to the 15 on second down. Three plays later, Enslen scored from 11 yards out. Welch's kick was wide, leaving Lee with a 20-O advantage. After consecutive West End losses, Lee took over on the Lions' 35. In three plays the Leemen registered another TD. Enslen ran 15, Henderson added 13, and Enslen then bolted across. Welch's boot made the score 27-O. The Generals came right back to register their fifth TD, Elbert Bell capped the march with an 11-yard sprint, with Welch converting for a 34-O margin. With Ralph Hamn as quarterback, Lee rolled 52 yards in the final minutes of play for their sixth TD. Elbert Bell Scores Untouched 146

Lee Generals played their strongest game of the season, defeating the Walton Braves 47-T4. Lee opened the scoring T9 seconds after taking the opening kickoff. Jerry Henderson broke loose for 32 yards on first down and Bobby Enslen darted TO yards around right end four plays later for the TD. David Welch's extra point boot made it 7-O. The Braves stormed back and tied the score at 7-all in 8 plays. The Leemen forged into the lead quickly, marching 58 yeards in 7 plays with Henderson carrying for the second TD. The Generals used two key fourth- down plays for another TD. Louis Priester's T6-yard run carried to the Braves 23, and Elbert Bell scored the touch- down. Welch gave Lee a QT-7 margin at intermission. Henderson climaxed a 58-yard drive with a l-yard plunge for another TD. Pep Pilgreen intercepted a stray Walton aerial to set up Lee's next TD. Enslen bootlegged around right end for the score. Enslen also tallied the next General TD early in the final quarter. Terry DePasquale picked off a Walton pass and set up the final Lee score. Glenn Tatum reached paydirt on a 33-yard run. Walton scored with 34 seconds remaining from Tommy Jones' pass to end Butch Hackett. Jones' PAT run ended the visitors' scoring.
