,Mministrativn CLINTON CARTER ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL Clinton Carter, who is now in the midst of his third year as assistant principal of Robert E. Lee High School, is a man of many honors, He graduated from Troy State College where he was vice president of the Student Government Association and listed in Who's Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities. He also attended Auburn University. Mr. Carter was a teacher at Capitol Heights Junior High, Goodwyn Junior High, and principal of Catoma Elementary School before coming to Lee. He is pres- ently president of the Montgomery Principals' Association and a past president of the Montgomery Classroom Teachers Association. Besides his offices in school work, he is a deacon in the Capitol Heights Baptist Church. Hobbies enioyed by Mr. Carter are reading, hunting, fishing, and being with his two young daughters and wife. Robert E. Lee High School is very lucky to have such an outstanding assistant principal as Clinton Carter. T. C. CARLTON PRINCIPAL One of the most distinguished men of Montgomery serves as principal of Robert E. Lee High School. He is T. C. Carlton, the man who has served the people of East Montgomery as friend, worker, and builder of better educational institutions. Mr. Carlton started his career as Lee High principal when it first opened in l955. Much of its success in the academic fields, foot- ball championships, and band awards can be attributed to his keen interest in these fields. Mr. Carlton has been the panel discussion moderator of the National Association of High School Principals which meets in Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Carlton's real hobby is Robert E. Lee High School, but he also enjoys golf and sporting events. Robert E. Lee is most fortunate to have a man as capable as Mr. Tim Carlton to head this school.
