The National Honor Award in advertising was won by a member of the Lee group, Walter Mills, for 1964.

Department has maintained a maximum enrollment of highly qualified students interested in varied technical and commercial fields. As an extra-curricular activity, Lee High D.O. Club established a precedent of winning the Outstanding Club Award forthe Southeast District for six consecutive years. The Lee D.O. Club has won the award for the Outstand- ing Club ot the State in i957 and again in l96l. The purpose of the D.O. Program is to provide stu- dents an opportunity for vocational training while they continue their general high school education. . . .
