This creates a spirit of cooperation through which they can better serve others and the school. The club has continued to grow each year. The record enrollment this year is 165. lt is the desire ofthe club to give encouragement and help to the girls who are members through the programs that are presented throughout the year,

Lee Chapter of the National Honor Society was organized in March, I962. Membership at Lee is drawn from junior and senior classes with re- gard to scholarship, leadership, character, and service. The Society meets seven times each school year with programs featuring speakers and original productions by members. This year National Honor Society Recogni- tion Day was celebrated at the Christmas Assembly when new members were presented to the student body.
