LATIN CLUB The Latin Club of Robert E. Lee High School is affiliated with the Junior Classical League, a nation-wide organi- zation which functions as a classical club on a secondary school level. The club strives to stimulate interest in Latin and make known the importance of Roman lan- guage and customs in today's life. Among the highlights of activities sponsored by the club are: a Saturnalian celebration in December, the Roman banquet in March, and Latin week observed in April. The Members enioyed special guests from foreign countries, panel discussions, and films about various countries. The highlight of the year's activities, however, was their gala Fiesta, a long anticipated event enioyed by everyone at Lee.
