The club participated in many school activities, and sent a delegate to the State Hi-Y and Tri-Hi-Y Conference at Gadsden and also sent a delegate to Youth Legislature. All the success of the club could not be contributed to one person, but by the hard work and co-operation ot every member the club was outstanding.

LEWIS MARTIN President FRE CH CLUB FISH The purpose of the French Club is to create an interest in and to create an appreciation of the French language, the French people, their land and their customs, and to foster a greater awareness ot Franco-American relations, both historically and culturally in the United States. The biggest event of the French Club is its annual Mardi Gras celebration. However, throughout the rest of the year, members enjoy decorating the float for the parade, seeing films of France, writing to pen pals, sending presents to French orphans and even working to earn money for the Mardi Gras.
