Accordingly the objectives of the Biology Club are to stimulate interest in the science of biology, to afford opportunities for enlarg- ing the scope of the course by field trips and other extracurricular activities, to promote participation in science fair projects, and finally to bring together those students who have a particular interest in biology for a mutual exchange of information.

The club adopted a little brother to entertain during the year. The club helped needy families during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Service projects of the club were selling old magazines and beat Lanier ribbons. The club's Man of the Year nominee was Rev, E. L. Hardin. One of the outstanding speakers during the year was Mr. Bill Goodwin, who spoke on School Spirit.
