What is life? Life is a never-ending chain of events. While some events go on and on, others terminate. As some occur- rences cease, others are created. Life at Lee in the 1981-1982 school year was full of new situations. A new air-conditioning system, along with ceiling fans, was in- stalled in the fall. The Student Council donated new carpeting for the library. In an attempt to make an improvement of the campus surface, a cleaning company was hired. Also, the Key Club began the Alumni Garden. The historic parking problem took a new twist: any student could park in the south parking lot on a first come, first serve basis, while the east lot remained a faculty and staff park- ing lot for the second year in a row. The Lee students learned to accept new situa- tions in stride as each instance occurred.
