Many organizations entered floats in the parade, which was sponsored by the Program Council. The floats were judged on the basis of size, original- ity, and style. During halftime of the Sharpstown game, Linda Penrod was crowned Homecoming Queen for 1977-78. After the game, the Booster Club sponsored the annual Homecoming Dance. Along with the distribution of door prizes, the sounds of Lucky brought the memorable day to a close.
