mmwmkgufde, In only six years of existence, Robert E. Lee High School has established a tra- dition for winning. Achieving this winning tradition has not been easy, but we have been fortunate in having the support of many teams -and with their help we, in turn, can pass this tradition on. WHAT IS THE MAIN FACTOR OF A WINNING TRADITION? TEAMWORK, the co-ordination of ef- fort, makes the task successful and ef- fective. At Lee, there are many different teams made up of people responsible for building this winning tradition. The student body composes the largest group. They generate the spirit and life of a school. All students grow to love and take pride in Lee. They cry over a lost football game, they spend hours outside of school working on club projects, they spend many hours working on homeworkg but athey all have one aim in mind-to honor the name of Robert E. Lee High School. I I fa? 1 5 I a There is no better teamwork than that between a coach and his players in the heat of a game. 470' 7 The student body selects another team, their leaders. These leaders help to better the ideals and goals of Lee and to lead their fellow students along the path of a winning tradition. To obtain the goal of winning, there must be the people with knowledge and training already possessedg this team is the administration and the faculty of Robert E. Lee. It is an everyday oc- currence to see a teacher willingly guide a student through the proofs of geometry, the errors of typ- ing, or the history of our great country. And certainly another one of our winning teams is made up of parents. They contribute much to Lee's success. Without their love and support, Lee would not have such an outstanding record of achievement. Our famous art teacher, Mr. Henri Gadbois, and senior art student, Krys Girard, decide on a painting to enter in the next art show. l I Tlx e winning debate team of Stewart Jay and David Brown are off to capture -mother tournament victory The t . y have won 68 of their last 72 debates. 3
