THE LEE FIELD HOUSE. from here the Gander spirit is carried to the field by our great football and track athletes . . . This is truly the Home of the Fighting Gandt-rs. Gcmderlcztrid is Full of Favorite Sites Over the years Ganders have found time to congregate in many favorite sites on the Robert E. Lee campus and elsewhere. Just think of the fun you had yelling at Lee's usually torrid basketball games in the Lee Gymnasium . . . waiting to shake hands with the Fighting Ganders at the Field House and Stadium . . . those mad dashes to get in line in the Cafeteria . . . honing up for examinations in Study Hall B and the Library . . . relaxing at the Quack Shack . . . clapping and cheering assembly programs in the Auditorium . . . splashing around in the Swimming Pool . . . racing for a space in the Parking Lot . . . watching our Tennis aces on the Tennis Court . . . passing the open doors and windows of the Music Building and soaking up the thrilling melodies pouring through those same doors and windows . . . pausing to wonder at and admire the many trophies in the Trophy Cases in the Main tFrontJ Hall . . . and maybe even having the extra thrill of seeing Ganderland as no foe ever didffrom up above tin an airplanell . . . Only a few of these favorite sites could be pictured here. BASEBALL, BASKETBALL, football, golf, track, tennis, cross country . . . Name the sport and General Lee will show you sev- eral Gander trophies in the main hall trophy case. r
